Religion – Sense or NonSense

Religion is a belief that there is someone out there to look out for us, which we refer to as God, Allah, Bhagwan, etc. Religion is seen as an identity to some but in real, Religion only gives us a sense of living. Religion is all about spreading. It’s about how a religion is everything a man can be and is.
But why religion was created? What was the need to divide people? Why 7 billion people on this world are not united by humanity rather Religion?
Well, the answer is Religion was created to encourage cooperation and tolerance among total strangers. In short, it was all a form of politics in order to gain more followers and supporters.
Religion was man-made to threaten people from someone who is invisible and invincible.
Religion is derived from the Latin Religio, meaning ‘restraint,’ or Relegere, according to Cicero, meaning ‘to repeat, to read again,’ or, most likely, Religionem, ‘to show respect for what is sacred’. Every culture in human history has been practicing some form of religion.
So, when incidences like – At Ujjain, in Lord Shiva’s temple where they are using RO water (filtered water) for the detoxification treatmentof the idea, which disturbs me as we live in a country where people are not getting water to drink or bathe, & they are using it in these ways.  Ideal, paintings, statues are just icons, they are just for spirituality and peace of Mind. There is nothing above “Be good, Do Good Deeds to others”.
People should understand Religion was created by us, we are not created by it. If there won’t be human, what will be the need of religion? Even the sacred books like Quran, Bhagavad-Gita it is mentioned,
“There is no compulsion where the religion is concerned.” (Holy Quran: 2/ 256)
“Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto me (Lord Krishna). I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.”
Another incident – Yesterday In Manhattan, New York, USA, 8 people were killed and 11 injured after a man in a rented Home Depot pick-up truck mowed down civilians after driving onto a busy bicycle path. The driver, who was identified as 29-year old Uzbekistan citizen Sayfullo Saipov, was shot in the abdomen before being arrested. He underwent surgery and is expected to survive. According to authorities, he shouted “Allahu Akbar” (God is great) after jumping out of the truck.
So world is not hating the person but the religion he is from. Everyone is tweeting about how Muslims should not be among them. No one thinks, how it is effecting an Individual Muslim who is innocent and enduring a lot because of the actions of people like above mentioned.
Religion should not create division but a sense of content and responsibility.
